If a small team managed to make a quality add on pack we would most likely buy it off them and integrate it directly into the core game and release it to all customer. The only "PAID DLC" type project we would consider would be a very very large later add on and/or total conversion where the game is made almost into a new game. (Lets say a special forces conversion by a mod team with all their own maps)
Yes exactly. Maps and factions and weapons generally speaking should just be pushed to the main game to sell more base copies imho.
If we dind ourselves low on funds to complete the game we can always come back to the community and get pledges from those whos financial situation allows and they think the value is there.maybe even a yearly optional backer amount. Enlisted class backer. Hehe.For now. We are going to focus on creating our core revenue stream and hopefully procuring a few million in revenue so we can produce the full product in all its glory.As always you guys will have a pretty big impact on that.. especially steam release.. we are going to need our entire community in steam playing day 1 and our best squad leaders and squaddies in servers doing orientation and making sure everyone gets a healthy start to their squad experience.
